Welcome to Caerphilly Golf Club

This friendly members club was founded in 1905. Located within easy walking distance of Caerphilly town centre and the local Bus and Train stations and just seven miles north of Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, Caerphilly Golf Club is ideally situated as a base for a golfing break in South Wales. There are few golf courses which can match the views from its fairways especially the 10th. Where else can you look out over a magnificent 13th century Norman Castle with its leaning tower that seems so close you can almost touch it.

Not just a golf course, the golf club is an ideal location for holding a Wedding reception or other special occasion. With a large function room and, uniquely in Caerphilly, an adjoining lounge and patio area overlooking the fairways it really is a special place for that special occasion. Businesses are also catered for with rooms available for hire for large or small meetings, seminars and exhibitions.

JOGOF and Get into Golf at Caerphilly Golf Club

Now is your chance to get into Golf and try it for FREE.

In participation with Golf Union of Wales the club is running a FREE try out golf day on SATURDAY 28th April from 10:00 am until 4:00pm. Even if you have never played golf before, this is your chance to try a sport that can be played whatever your age and by all the family.

If you are a beginner our PGA qualified professionals will be on hand to show you the basics.

On the day there will also be a putting competition for everyone to enter – young or old, golfer or non-golfer.

Special offers on joining fees for all categories including JOGOF* (join one get one FREE), lady golfers of all handicaps or new starters are available throughout April.

Golf equipment will made available for taster lessons

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available and, if required, cooked meals will be available from our Open Day Special Menu
